Ukrainian poultry export grows

Basing on customs statistics figures, total poultry export from Ukraine in 9m 2016 made 178k tons or USD 213M in money terms, which is almost on the level of the whole Y2015. Poultry made about 80% of total Ukrainian meat export in reporting period. Main destinations are Iraq (27%, Ukraine actively competes with Turkey on this market), Egypt (12%) and Netherlands (11%). We estimated that MHP share of total Ukrainian export in 9m 2016 has been not less than 70-75%.
In the same period Ukrainian import of meat made USD 56M, thereof poultry – USD 23M.
