In MY2016/17 Ukraine already exported 8.5M tons of grains

As Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported on September 16, total Ukrainian grains export since the beginning of July made 8.5M tons, thereof wheat export made 5.1M tons, corn – 583k tons, barley – 2.783k tons. Total export potential for current MY is estimated at 38-40M tons (MY2015/16 – 38.5M tons). As of September 16 Ukrainian agrarians already harvested 40M tons of grains (including 2.5M tons of corn out from 556k ha area, which is 14% of total area to be harvested).
