Oilseeds harvesting campaign progress in Ukraine

We take our first look on Ukrainian oilseeds harvesting campaign which started in the end of August. According to APK-Inform information as of September 9 Ukrainian farmers harvested 1.8M tons of sunflower seeds from 905k ha (15% of the plan) with yield of 1.98tons/ha. Also agrarians harvested 413k tons of soybeans from 201k ha with the same yield. It is expected that total sunflower seeds harvest in Ukraine can reach 13-13.5M tons, soybeans – 4.0-4.3M tons.
