Ukrainian crude steel output in October declined by 6%

According to Ukrmetallurgprom crude steel output in Ukraine in October declined y-oy by 6% and made 1.931M tons. In total during January-October Ukrainian steel production made 20.167M tons, by 5.5% more than in corresponding period of previous year. Main reason of growth in the beginning of current year – effect of low base, while starting from August y-o-y production started to decline.

On positive side is good dynamics of steel pipes production (growth vs. October’15 made almost 30% due to low base):
