According to recent information on web-site of the company, total amount of agricultural production of the company in last year made 790k tons of grains.
As for sugar operations, total sugar production made around 355k tons with sugar yield at more than 15.5%, which is record-high for the group (in Y2014 466k tons with respective yield of 15%). Basing on stated sugar production and yield, we can estimate, that close to 2.3M of sugar beets have been processed, so that own sugar beets accounted for more than 80% of total processed volume.
Milk production made 103k tons, almost on the level of previous year, despite some decrease of cow heads, so that milk yield increased, which is positive factor for the segment and performance of the company in general.
According to presented by the company information, in last year Globino soybeans processing plant produced close to 146k tons of high-protein soybean meal and 34k tons of soybean oil. We estimate in this case total processing volumes at close to 195k of soybeans (vs. 200k a year ago). It was not disclosed by the company if tolling operations were included into report.
Bioenergy complex generated over 10.5M cubic meters of biogas. Apart from Globyno sugar plant, ASTARTA also supplied biogas to Globyno soybean processing plant.
