Ukrainian sugar export has been booming and the largest producers take an active part in it. Astarta Holding accounted for more than 40% of total export volume in Y2016, Ukrprominvest – 24%, Radekhiv-Tsukor – 9%.

Astarta Group sugar export accelerated with the start of new season (total sugar production of the company in new season made 505k tons). For 9m 2016 export made just slightly more than 40k tons, in last quarter of the year – 140k tons. Nine group entities exported sugar in Y2016, the largest ones have been Globinskiy Sugar Plant (81k tons of sugar export) and Zhdanivskiy Tsukor (31.6k tons).
As for Ukrprominvest, the largest exporter of this group were Vinnitskiy KHP #2 (74.3k tons), Podillya Food Company and Zorya Podillya.
Apart from Avtek and Tavria-V (which are trading companies and mainly interested in VAT credit related to export operations), other TOP-10 exporting groups are producers of sugar.
