Basing on customs statistics figures in November Ukrainian grains export made about 4M tons, thereof corn - 2.26M tons, wheat – 1.4M tons.
Since the start of new season (July 2016) and by December 1 grains export from Ukraine made 18.4M tons. Growth of grains export vs. corresponding period of previous year made 6%. During July-November wheat export made 10.1M tons, corn – 4.2M tons, barley – about 4M tons.
In addition, during September-November Ukraine exported 814k of soybeans, thereof 551k tons - in November alone (USD 206M), which is 13% of total Ukrainian soybeans production in current season (4.1M tons). In the same period of time export of sunflower oil made 1.2M tons, sunflower and soybean meal – more than 1M tons.
As we reported earlier, by December 2 Ukrainian farmers harvested grains from 13.6M ha (99% of planned area). As of reporting date total crop made 63.4M tons, which is close to record-high for Ukraine volume of 63.8M tons reached in Y2014.
