According to Ukrstat information in March 2017 Ukrainian companies produced about 105k tons of poultry meat which is by 20% higher than in February and by 23% more than a year ago.
Industrial output of fresh poultry meat grew y-o-y by almost 29% up to 81k tons, frozen chickens – by 5% to 23.4k tons.
In total in Q1 2017 Ukrainian enterprises produced 289k tons of poultry meat, +19.4% y-o-y. In volume terms growth made 47k tons. We note that export volume during reporting period increased by 24k tons up to 65k tons (more than 22% of total industrial poultry production).
As we reported earlier in Y2016 Ukrainian companies produced 991k tons of poultry meat (by 12% more than in Y2015), export made 240k tons, +49% vs. previous year, the share of export in total industrial output made 24%.
