In October sunoil export out of Ukraine made 454k tons with total value of $501M, which is below September, but is still quite large figure.
For comparison sunoil export in September made 509k tons, August - 364k tons, July – 279k tons. First of all increase in export is connected to launch of grains corridor out of Ukrainian Black Sea ports. Further export perspectives largely depend on grains corridor operating.
Since the beginning of Y2022 and till the end of October Ukrainian sunflower oil export made 3.4M tons for $4.4bln.
We note quite significant increase of sunflower seeds export. In October it made 380k tons vs. 180 k tons in previoius month. Reasons - uncertainty with grain scorridor operating along with increase of farmers' selling due to new crop push.
We also note that in October Ukrainian rapeseeds export was still quite good at 669k tons (total rapeseeds harvest in Ukraine in Y2022 made 3.1M tons, season-to-date export - 2.4M tons), soybeans export – 214k tons (249k tons in September, in case grains corridor will continue to operate we expect increase of soybeans export due to good soybeans harvest this year).
