Basing on customs statistics figures, in October 2016 poultry export from Ukraine made 21.4k tons, slightly lower than in September, but by 45% higher vs. October’15. In money terms in reporting month export volumes made USD 26.5M
In total in January-October 2016 Ukrainian poultry export made about 200k tons (vs. 161.3k tons for the whole Y2015), which is USD 240M in money terms. In the same period of time import of poultry to Ukraine increased as well – to 67.9k tons, as cheap foreign frozen production takes some share of Ukrainian producers on domestic market (in its cheapest segment – average imported production price in October made USD 0.42 per 1 kg, export price – USD 1.24 per 1 kg)
