According to Ukrtsukor association by November 21 about 1.5M tons of sugar is already produced in Ukraine in new season, which already exceeds total production for Y2015 (1.43M tons).
Current sugar yield is 14.85% (which is the highest value for the last years, in Y2015 sugar yield was at 14.1%), 10M tons of sugar beets have been processed. Up to the date sugar beets have been harvested from the area of 250k ha (85% of total) with the yield of about 47.5t/ha.
Earlier we reported about record-high Ukrainian sugar export volumes in October and some problems which traders faced with logistics of export operations (longer than expected loading of vessels). On previous week two handy-size vessels with sugar left Ukrainian ports (about 40k tons of sugar in total), which is positive factor for further sugar export development. Negative factor is that international sugar price somewhat declined during last period of time.
