In reporting period Astarta supplied to its off-takers 110k tons of sugar, by 14.6% higher y-o-y. Average selling price (in UAH terms) also grew – by 10% y-o-y.
Quarterly sales dynamics of the company during last period of time looked as follows:
As for total grains sales volumes, in reporting quarter its main share was wheat (80% of total volume or 122k tons). Wheat sales significantly exceeded last year’s level (in MY2016/17 Astarta sold wheat mainly in Q4 2016 and Q1 2017, while more than 40% of current season crop up to reporting date has been sold).
So, because of increase of sales volumes in physical terms in main operating segments and also due to growth of average realization prices for main types of products, total revenues of the company in Q3 2017 is expected to increase y-o-y by 15-20% (from EUR 69M up to more than EUR 80M).
In total in 9m 2017 Astarta revenues is to make more than EUR 330M (vs. EUR 217M a year ago).
