Shareholders of Mriya rejected first takeover proposals but remain open for new discussions

According to the statement on official web-site of the company, Mriya obtained takeover proposals from potential investors interested in purchase of assets of the company in December 2016, but first proposals were rejected.

Along with it position of Creditors Committee is that the company remains open for any new discussions and potential bidders can realize its due diligence, basing on results of which new proposals can be discussed.

Recently Kernel CEO, Mr. Andrey Verevskiy noted that his company is interested in takeover of Mriya assets.

At the moment Mriya controls land bank of 184k ha and close to 500k tons of storage facilities, its total current debt is USD 1.1bln, sustainable debt (according to managerial estimation) is USD 330M (the company defaulted on its obligations in Y2014 and is currently controlled by creditors).
