Due to record-high crops in Ukraine and despite increased competition Nibulon demonstrated one of the best grains export results in its history.
Having exported 4.65 million tons of agricultural products, NIBULON is ranked first among Ukrainian exporters. The company managed to export more agricultural products only in 2009/10 MY and in 2015/16 MY.
Nibulon exports agricultural commodities to all main global destinations: countries of Africa, Middle East, Europe, South-East Asia, China and India. In particular, the company keeps participating in GASC (General Authority for Supply Commodities in Egypt) tenders (only a few Ukrainian grains exporters participate in GASC program).
Also NBULON successfully shipped Ukrainian corn to Jordan, the demand for which was almost absent due to quality risks and strong competition between the USA, Argentina and Brazil. As a result, local companies began to pay more attention to Ukrainian corn as a worthy alternative to overseas counterpart. The company also managed to build trade relations with producers of bioethanol in European countries and establish direct supplies of domestic corn to the plants producing “green” fuel.
As for farming direction of Nibulon, the company just finished harvesting of early crops. Harvested area made 30.5k ha, total crops made 120.8k tons. In particular, wheat crop made 108k tons with yield of 4.2t/ha (on the level of previous year).
