Total shell eggs and egg products export in money terms in September made USD 8.65M, which has been the highest value since the start of Y2017.
In reporting month Ukrainian companies exported 10.5k tons of shell eggs, lower vs. previous month (12.4k tons, which has been the highest value since the beginning of Y2017), but much higher y-o-y (6.2k tons in September 2016). We note that average shell eggs export price in September grew vs. previous month (in USD terms) by 18%.
In total since the beginning of current year Ukrainian companies exported 62.4k tons of shell eggs (USD 43.5M), while in the same period of Y2016 – 40k tons for USD 35M. Export dynamics since the beginning of Y2017 looked as follows:

As we earlier expected, due to export growth and seasonal factors (usual lower eggs production in households since the beginning of autumn, which negative influences domestic market supply), local Ukrainian eggs prices keep growing. After increase by 18% in August, in September growth made 31%. We expect that prices will keep on growing in October – beginning of November with further stabilization till end of the year (due to decrease of demand).
