In April 2017 Ukrainian companies exported about 574k tons of sunflower oil, which is lower vs. record-high March level (683k tons), but has been higher vs. sunoil export in any other month since the start of current season.
In comparison with last year’s April Ukrainian sunflower oil export in last reporting month increased by more than 40%.
Average sunflower oil export price in April comprised USD 743/t (by USD 10/t lower than in March).
In total since the beginning of current season Ukrainian sunflower oil export made 4M tons (vs. 3M tons as of the same date of previous season; in total in MY2015/16 total sunflower export from Ukraine made 4.5M tons, expectations for the current season – not less than 5.2M tons). Monthly dynamics looks as follows:
Export of Ukrainian soybeans in April has been much less active vs. previous month – its volume declined from 490k tons to 182k tons (relatively flat y-o-y).

In total since the beginning of current season Ukrainian companies exported about 2.6M tons of soybeans (in Y2016 total Ukrainian soybeans harvest made 4.3M tons), which has been by 50% higher than in corresponding period of previous season. Along with it export volume in current season up to the date has already exceeded soybeans export for the whole previous season (2.4M tons).
Soybean oil export in April made 15.3k tons (vs. 24k tons in March) for USD 11.3M. Oilseeds meals export during last reporting month made 505k tons (USD 90M), which has been by 21k tons lower vs. previous month.
