In May 2017 Ukrainian companies exported 473k tons of sunflower oil, which is lower vs. volumes of sunoil export during previous months.
In comparison with last year’s May Ukrainian sunflower oil export in last reporting month increased almost by 30%.
Average sunflower oil export price in May comprised USD 738/t, total proceeds from sunoil export – USD 350M.
In total since the beginning of current season Ukrainian sunflower oil export made more than 4.4M tons (vs. 3.4M tons as of the same date of previous season; in total in MY2015/16 total sunflower export from Ukraine made 4.5M tons. Monthly dynamics looks as follows:
Export of Ukrainian soybeans since the beginning of April has been much less active vs. previous months. In May soybeans export made just 138k tons – vs. 490k tons in March and 182k tons in April.

In total since the beginning of current season Ukrainian companies exported more than 2.7M tons of soybeans (in Y2016 total Ukrainian soybeans harvest made 4.3M tons), which is higher than in the whole previous season (about 2.4M tons).
Soybean oil export in last reporting month made 12.3k tons (vs. 24k tons in March and 15.3k tons in April) for USD 9M. Oilseeds meals export in May made 489k tons (USD 86M), as usual, main part of it – sunflower meal.
