In November Ukrainian companies exported 548k tons of sunflower and soybean oil, 246k tons of soybeans, 342k tons of rapeseeds and 408k tons of sunflower and soybean meals.
Traditionally sunoil takes leading place in Ukrainian oilseeds export. In reporting month its export made 535.5k tons, which has been by 100k tons higher than in October 2016.
In total during first two months of new season Ukraine exported 845k tons of sunflower oil for USD 633M. Y-o-y growth made almost 20% (140k tons). Average export price of sunoil in October 2017 made USD 755/t (flat y-o-y).
As a reminder in MY2016/17 Ukrainian sunoil export made 5.84M tons (vs. 4.5M tons in previous season). It is expected that in current season this figure will be lower due to decrease of Ukrainian sunflower seeds crop. According to the data of leading Ukrainian sunoil producer Kernel Holding, in Y2016 factual sunflower seeds harvest made 15.2M tons (official figure 13.6M tons), while in Y2017 it should decrease to 13M tons. In this case total sunflower oil production will make 5.2-5.3M tons, export up to 5M tons.

Soybeans export became much more active in October if in previous onth it made just 37k tons, in reporting one already 246k tons (vs. 198k tons a year ago). Average export price of soybeans made USD 350/t.
In the last season Ukrainian companies exported 2.9M tons of soybeans (in Y2016 total Ukrainian soybeans harvest made 4.3M tons), which is higher than in MY2015/16 (about 2.4M tons). General soybeans export dynamics in MY2016/17 is represented on the chart below:
Rapeseeds export in October made 342k tons, in total since the beginning of current season almost 1.7M tons (total Ukrainian rapeseeds crop in Y2017 comprised 2.3M tons). Average export price in reporting month USD 422/t.
For the whole MY2016/17 Ukrainian companies exported about 1M of rapeseeds (total harvest made 1.2M tons), so it is expected that in new season rapeseeds export will be by more than two times higher, which means more than USD 400M of additional foreign currency proceeds into Ukraine, which is very important taking into account expected y-o-y decrease of grains and sunoil export.
Soybean oil export in last reporting month made about 12.4k tons for USD 9.4M, oilseeds meals (mainly sunflower meal) export 408.6k tons (USD 71M).
