According to customs statistics data, export of Ukrainian poultry in August 2017 made 22.1k tons (USD 34.6M in money terms), which has been by 9% lower y-o-y.
In comparison to previous month poultry export stays stable, however we note growth of average selling price vs. previous months – in August it comprised USD 1.57/kg, while in June and July – about USD 1.45/kg, in May – USD 1.33/kg. It can probably mean growth of more expensive products share in total export (notably MHP which accounts for 80% of total Ukrainian poultry export stated that it intends to increase relatively expansive production share in its export into EU).
In total since the beginning of Y2017 Ukrainian companies exported 192k tons of poultry (USD 263M), which has been by 24% higher y-o-y.

In Y2016 Ukrainian poultry export made about 240k tons (vs. 161k tons in Y2015), which is USD 292.5M in money terms.
In August chickens import into Ukraine made 10.6k tons (vs. 8.8k tons in July) with average price of imported products at USD 0.42/kg. In total since the beginning of Y2017 Ukrainian imported almost 66k tons (for USD 26M).
