According customs statistics data, export of Ukrainian poultry in July 2017 made 22k tons (USD 32.5M in money terms), which has been by 12% lower y-o-y.
Poultry export in July decreased vs. previous month as well – in June it made 23.5k tons. After record-high volume in March (33k tons) during latest months Ukrainian poultry export has been declining.
In total since the beginning of Y2017 Ukrain0an companies exported 169.5k tons of chickens (USD 228M), which is by 39% more than in corresponding period of Y2016.

In Y2016 Ukrainian poultry export made about 240k tons (vs. 161k tons in Y2015), which is USD 292.5M in money terms.
As for poultry import in July it made 8.8k tons. Average price of imported production remains much lower vs. average export price: in the reporting month import price made USD 0.39/kg, export price – USD 1.48/kg (vs. USD 1.45/kg in June and USD 1.45/kg in June).
