According to Ukrstat information in April 2017 Ukrainian companies produced about 99.3k tons of poultry meat which is slightly lower than in March but by 28.5% more than a year ago.
Industrial output of fresh poultry meat grew y-o-y by 32% up to 78k tons, frozen chickens – by 17% to 20.9k tons.
In total in the first four months of Y2017 Ukrainian enterprises produced 389k tons of poultry meat, +21% y-o-y. In volume terms growth made 67k tons. We note that export volume during reporting period increased by 30k tons up to 96k tons (close to 25% of total industrial poultry production).
As we reported earlier in Y2016 Ukrainian companies produced 991k tons of poultry meat (by 12% more than in Y2015), export made 240k tons, +49% vs. Y2015.
