According to Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture Ukraine and EU agreed to resume export of Ukrainian poultry to EU countries.
Export ban was established in mid-December after first cases of bird flu in Ukraine, right after that Ukraine and its largest producers started to work on partial removal/regionalization of the ban.
As we reported earlier in Y2016 Ukrainian poultry export made 240k tons (+49% y-o-y), the share of export in total industrial production during last year made 24%.
MHP remains absolute leader among Ukrainian industrial poultry producers (with the share of more than 60%) and exporters (more than 80%).
