The biggest Ukrainian grains exporters 2021/22
Kernel, Nibulon and Cargill are the largest Ukrainian grains exporters (shippers) in the beginning of marketing year 2021/22.
During July – September 2021, Ukraine exported about 14.2 million tons of grain, by 15% more than in the same period of previous marketing year.
Kernel Holding remains the leading Ukrainian grains exporter and shipper with a rather big gap from its competitors – in the first three months of the season the company has already exported 2.4 million tons or 16% of the total Ukrainian grains export volume. For the time being Kernel’s grains export is by 8% higher y-o-y. According to the group’s plans in 2021/22 season it should export out of Ukraine 11M tons of grains, five-years plan assumes that till Y2026 Kernel targets to increase annual grains export figure up to 15M tons.
After Kernel the largest exporters of Ukrainian grain in the first three months of 2020/21 season were Nibulon (1.8 million tons) and Cargill (1.5 million tons). The complete list of TOP-5 largest shippers is as follows:

In terms of major crops, the largest Ukrainian exporters of wheat during July - September 2021 were Kernel (1.35 million tons) and Nibulon (0.9 million tons) followed by Cargill and Louis Dreyfus (about 0.8 million tons each).
As for barley, leaders are LDC, Kernel and Nibulon, each of them exported about 0.5 million tons of barley.
