According to the information on web-site of the company on 3rd Feb 2023 Bunge closed the deal to sell its oilseeds crusher in russia.

Since February 3rd the asset in Voronezh region is managed by new owner.

Bunge announced the sale of its asset in September 2022. Other businesses have been sold before – unlike other grains traders, such as Viterra and LDC, which continue to operate in russia.

In Ukraine Bunge owns two oilseeds crushing plants – in Dnipro and Mykolaiv and port terminal in Mykolaiv. As port in Mykolaiv remains closed since the full-scale russian invasion into Ukraine and by the time of this report, Bunge lost its market share among the biggest Ukrainian grains and oilseeds exporters.

As a reminder, in MY2020/21 the share of Bunge among Ukrainian sunflower seeds crushers made 12.5%, among the biggest grains exporters – about 4%.
