In April 2023, Ukrainian chicken exports amounted to 32.5 thousand tons, which is 5% lower than in March.

According to preliminary data, Ukrainian export of poultry meat in April amounted to 32.5 thousand tons, which is 5% lower than the figure of the previous month.

In total, in the first four months of 2023, Ukraine exported 137,000 tons of chicken worth $241 million.

The average price of Ukrainian exports in the reporting month was $1.87 per 1 kg, which is higher than in previous months.

The main importers of Ukrainian chicken also remain unchanged - the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Slovakia.

As a reminder in 2022, Ukraine exported 413,000 tons of poultry meat worth $852 million. For comparison, the corresponding figures for 2021 - 459,000 tons and $716 million.
