In the first nine months of 2023, Ukrainian exports of iron ore comprised 12.6 million tons worth $1.3 billion.

According to the State Customs Service, in September, Ukraine exported 1,437 million tons of iron ore worth $142 million. Export proceeds were almost the same as in the previous few months, and the volume of exports in natural terms was relatively stable as well.

In September 2022, the export of ore amounted to 1.356 million tons for $136 million, so the current export is almost the same y-o-y.

In total, in the first nine months of 2023, Ukrainian iron ore exports amounted to 12.6 million tons. This is 41% less than in January-September 2022.
