Kernel Group became the winner of the auction for the sale of the Illichivsk oilseeds crushing plant

According to information provided by Latifundist with reference to Prozorro.Prodazhi, the winner of the auction for the sale of the Illichivsk crushing plant in Chornomorsk was the company Poltava-Zerno, the main beneficiary of which is the agroholding Kernel.

The company was purchased for UAH 696.6 million. This price includes a plot of land with an area of 8.58 hectares, administrative and economic buildings, equipment and 3 vehicles.

Earlier the property complex was pledged under a loan of (bankrupted in Y2015) Delta Bank, the liquidator of Delta Bank declared creditor claims against the enterprise for over UAH 1.6 billion.

Also, several years ago, there was a series of corporate conflicts regarding the ownership of Illichivsk crushing plant (as well as the crushing plant in Odessa) between the owners of the bankrupt Odesa-based group Agroinvestgroup and representatives of the ex-top management of Delta Bank.
