Annual meeting of Astarta shareholders approved payment of EUR 12.5 mln dividend basing on the result of financial performance in Y2022.

The Board of Directors of ASTARTA HOLDING PLC announces that on May 24, 2023 the Annual General Meeting of the Company passed a resolution to pay a distribution of EUR 0.50 per share on all ordinary shares in total amount of EUR 12,500,000.

In accordance with the decision adopted by the Board of Directors on May 24, 2023 the distribution will be paid on 16 June 2023 (the “Payment Date”) to shareholders on the register at the close of business day on 2 June 2023 (the “Record Date”).

We remind you that until 2021, Astarta did not pay dividends to its shareholders. The first payment was made in June 2021 based on the results of 2020. According to the results of the activity in 2021, due to the impact of the full-scale Russian invasion, there was no dividend payment.

Overall, despite the impact of the invasion (especially on the grain and oilseeds business segment), Astarta's financial results for 2022 were quite good due to the good performance of the sugar and soybean processing segments. Our analysis of performance in 2022 is available here.
