Brocard sums up its operations in Y2023

As of February 2024, the Brocard network has 66 stores, and its turnover in 2023 was UAH 3.5 billion.

Brocard droggerie network summarized its operating performance for 2023.

The number of Brocard stores in Ukraine decreased from about a hundred as of the beginning of 2022 (before the full-scale Russian invasion) to 66 as of the beginning of 2024. During 2023, three new stores were opened - in Lutsk, Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Currently, the network is represented in 22 Ukrainian cities, and its turnover in 2023, according to the data of the company, was about UAH 3.5 billion.

For comparison, in 2022, the turnover of the Brocard Ukraine company halved compared to 2021 and amounted to UAH 1.9 billion. The dynamics of the company's sales since 2017 are shown in the graph below:

The operating loss of the network in 2022 amounted to UAH 226 million (against the profit in the amount of UAH 247 million in the previous year), the net loss amounted to UAH 387 million.

We expect Brocard's financial results to improve significantly in 2023.

Until 2022, the Brocard chain was owned by the owner of the Russian chain L'Etoile, Tatiana Volodina. After Russian full-scale invasion into Ukraine started, already in May 2022 Brocard was sold to Philippe Benansen, a member of the Board of Directors of the French company Interparfums SA.

With the beginning of the Russian invasion, Brocard stores were closed, the network resumed its work in October 2022.
