In the first nine months of 2023, revenue of Eva retail chain amounted to UAH 14.5 billion, net profit made UAH 1.2 billion.
According to the data of the company's quarterly financial report, net sales of the Eva network for January-September 2023 amounted to UAH 14.5 billion, which is by 35% higher y-o-y (UAH 10.8 billion).
The operating profit of the company in the reporting period amounted to UAH 1.9 billion (UAH 736 million for nine months of 2022), the net profit made UAH 1.2 billion (UAH 326 million).
The network's debt burden remains not very significant - as of the end of September 2023, the company's bank loans amounted to about UAH 640 million.
As a reminder at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion Eva retail chain consisted of about 1,150 stores, its turnover (basing on financials of operating company Rush LLC) in 2021 amounted to UAH 17 billion.
After the beginning of the invasion, the number of stores in the chain decreased significantly and as of the beginning of May 2022, it amounted to 952 outlets. The total Eva's turnover in 2022 was UAH 15.7 billion (-7.6% by 2021).
Already during the second half of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, the network returned to development (although not so active as before a full-scale invasion). A total of 26 new stores were opened in 2022, and 11 more in the first quarter of 2023. As of October 2023, the Eva chain had 1,030 stores. The plans for 2024 are to open up to 60 more stores.
The company continues the construction of a distribution center in Lviv, and also started construction of a new warehouse in Odesa.
Eva continues to actively develop the direction of e-commerce. As CEO Eva Olha Shevchenko recently noted in a comment to Forbes Ukraine, in September 2023, the share of online sales in the total amount of the company's net sales was about 10%.
