In 2024, Kernel remained the largest exporter of grain from Ukraine

According to Kernel's operating reports, in the 2024 calendar year, the company exported 6.3 million tons of grain from Ukraine, which was 80% higher than in the 2023 calendar year.

It should be noted that in the first half of the year, Kernel's grain exports amounted to 3.5 million tons, and in the second half - 2.8 million tons. The main reason of decrease is a significant decline in grain stocks in Ukraine and a relatively low harvest of late crops in 2024.

Kernel's share among the largest grain exporters from Ukraine in 2024 was almost 12%, Kernel continues to be number one grain exporter from Ukraine, followed by Louis Dreyfus and Nibulon.

As for vegetable oil, in 2024, Kernel's oil sales volume amounted to 1.4 million tons. Note that due to a shortage of sunflower seeds for processing, in the current season Kernel is also processing soybeans and was also forced to shut down one of its plants in January 2025.
