Share UA Potential expects that the revenue and profit of McDonald's Ukraine in 2023 will be the largest for the years of the company's work in Ukraine.

According to the financial report of McDonald's Ukraine, the company's turnover for the first nine months of 2023 amounted to UAH 9.3 billion, compared to only UAH 1.8 billion for the corresponding period of 2022.

After the start of a full-scale war in February 2022, all restaurants of the chain in Ukraine were closed and started to gradually reopen their doors in September 2022.

As of February 24, 2022, 109 chain restaurants were operating in Ukraine, currently their number is close to 100 again.

The company's total turnover in 2021 was about UAH 11 billion, so as of December 2023, with high degree of certainty we can assume that McDonald's turnover in Ukraine in the current year will exceed the pre-war figure of 2021.

The net profit of McDonald's in Ukraine during January-September 2023 was UAH 1.0 billion, compared to a loss of UAH 1.5 billion a year ago. Until the current year, the largest profit the company obtained in 2021 - at the level of UAH 1 billion, so it can be expected that in 2023 the net profit will also be the largest in the entire history of McDonald's Ukraine.
