In Y2023 McDonald's Corporation (MCD) revenue grew by 10% y-o-y up to $25.5 billion.

On February 5 McDonald's corporation reported it's financial results for Q4 and the whole Y2023.

Basing on report's data, in Q4 2023 revenues of the group grew by 8% y-o-y and reached $6.4 billion.

For the whole Y2023 revenues of McDonald's Corporation comprised $25.5 billion, by 10% higher y-o-y. Net income of the company in Y2023 made $8.5 billion vs. $6.2 billion a year ago.

Revenue from the company-operated restaurants was at $9.7 billion (+11% y-o-y), from franchised restaurants - $15.4 billion (+9%).

In its report the company notes growth deceleration due to the impact of the conflict in the Middle East (mainly - boycotts in Muslim nations over its stance on the conflict, including Malaysia, Indonesia, there is some impact in France as well).

As a reminder, in Ukraine, in the beginning of Y2024 there are more than 100 operating McDonald's restaurants (close to pre-invasion level of 109), net sales of McDonald's Ukraine in 9m 2023 amounted to UAH 9.3 million (vs. UAH 1.9 million in 9m 2022 as since the beginning of Russian invasion and till September 2022 all McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine were closed).

For comparison, in Y2021 revenue of McDonald's Ukraine made UAH 11 billion, in Y2020 - close to UAH 8 billion.
