The turnover of McDonald's in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2024 was UAH 3.7 billion, the net profit was UAH 358 million.

According to the financial statements of the company McDonald's Ukraine Ltd., which owns and operates McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine, its turnover in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to almost 3.7 billion UAH, which is almost twice higher vs. the revenue in the corresponding period of the previous year (1.97 billion UAH).

The company's operating profit in the reporting period amounted to UAH 370 million (in the first quarter of 2023, the operating loss amounted to UAH 2 million), net profit - UAH 358 million (-10 million UAH).

The company continues to generate positive operating cash flow as well as expands its network by opening new restaurants. At the same time, the amount of money in the accounts of McDonald's Ukraine increased from UAH 1.3 billion at the beginning of 2024 to UAH 1.5 billion as of March 31.

Since the National Bank of Ukraine by its recent resolution allowed partial repatriation of dividends (relating to profits in Y2024) by foreign owners of Ukrainian companies, it can be expected that McDonald's Ukraine will soon start paying dividends to its owners.
