In 2023, Net Profit of Roshen Corporation exceeded UAH 5 billion

In 2023, turnover of the main operating company of the Roshen group increased by 44% y-o-y to UAH 32 billion.

According to the official financial statements of the main operating company of the Roshen group - Roshen Confectionery Corporation - its revenue for 2023 amounted to UAH 31.9 billion, which is 44% higher than in 2022 (UAH 22.1 billion).

To a large extent, such sales dynamics were caused by the increase in prices for confectionery products in Ukraine, especially the significant increase in chocolate prices (in 2023, global prices for cocoa beans were on average 35-40% higher than the previous year, and as of the current moment, they more than double the prices of a year ago).

The company's operating profit in the reporting year amounted to UAH 8 billion (UAH 5.7 billion in 2022), net profit - UAH 5.6 billion (UAH 3.9 billion).

Net profit in 2023 became the highest in the entire history of the company.

Roshen Confectionery Corporation is the main operating company of the Roshen group. It sells confectionery products of the group, is the center of the group's profitability, as well as the majority owner of companies that own the group's production assets - confectionery factories in Vinnytsia, Kremenchuk, Boryspil and Kyiv, as well as the Roshen Dairy in Vinnytsia.

Roshen Confectionery Corporation, like other companies of the group, has a good balance sheet structure. The main source of asset financing is own capital (UAH 22.7 billion with total assets of UAH 30 billion). As of December 31, 2023, the company did not utilize credit funds. Assets include a significant amount of cash, which increased from UAH 3.7 billion as of December 31, 2022 to UAH 8 billion by the end of 2023.

The general financial standing of Roshen can be defined as good.
