The total number of stores in the network as of the end of 2023 was 108, sales for the first nine months of the year increased by approximately 30%.
CEO of THRASH! Ukrainian food retail chain in an interview with RAU provided his comments regarding the current state of affairs in the network.
As a reminder the network THRASH!, like Silpo, Fora, and Fozzy, belongs to the Fozzy Group, it was launched in 2016, and at the beginning it worked in the "hard discounter" format. Then it was decided to change the focus on customers service and atmosphere, so currently the chain works in the format of stores near the home, but with a clear differentiation vs. competitors.
As of December 31, 2021, there were 88 markets in the network, nine of them were lost after the start of the full-scale invasion, but later, during 2022, the work of five was restored.
During 2022, 13 new chain stores were opened, and 15 more in 2023, so the total number of stores at the end of 2023 was 108.
According to the financial report of Thrush LLC, which operates stores, in 2022, the chain's turnover amounted to UAH 2.3 billion, -8% compared to the previous year, operating profit – UAH 106 million, net profit – UAH 27 million, operating cash flow – UAH 446 million.
The inventory turnover of the company is about 40 days, the average payment delay to suppliers is about 70-80 days.
During the first nine months of 2023, the revenue of Thrush LLC increased by approximately 30% compared to the previous year's figure.
