The proceeds from the export of honey from Ukraine during January-March amounted to $43.5 million, which is almost 40% more than last year.

According to preliminary data of customs statistics, the export of honey from Ukraine in March 2024 amounted to 7.7 thousand tons, which is almost the same as in the previous month and exceeds the figure of March 2023 by 71%.

In total, in the first quarter of 2024, Ukrainian companies exported 22.8 thousand tons of honey worth $43.5 million, compared to 11.8 thousand tons and $31.3 million in the first quarter of 2023.

In 2023, Ukraine exported 55 thousand tons of honey for $121 million. For comparison, in 2022 - 48 thousand tons for $137 million, in 2021 - 57.6 thousand tons for $143 million.
