Volumes of Ukrainian poultry meat exports in Q1 2024 increased by 7.7% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to preliminary data of customs statistics, Ukrainian exports of poultry meat in March 2024 amounted to 38,000 tons, for the first quarter of the year - 112,000 tons, which is 7.7% more than in the corresponding period of 2023 (104,000 tons).

In 2023, Ukraine exported 425,000 tons of chicken worth $800 million. Compared to 2022, the export of chicken in natural volume increased by 3%, while in monetary terms it decreased by 6% due to a significant decrease in the average selling price in in the second half of 2022.

In recent months, the average price of Ukrainian poultry meat exports has remained relatively stable at the level of approximately $2 per 1 kg.
