In general, since the beginning of the 2023/24 season in September of last year, Ukrainian sunflower oil exports amounted to 3.8 million tons.

According to preliminary data of customs statistics, Ukrainian sunflower oil exports in March 2024 amounted to 608,000 tons, which was close to the level of the previous two months and 16% more than in March 2023.

In total, during the first seven months of the 2023/24 season, Ukrainian companies exported 3.8 million tons of sunflower oil vs. 3.2 million tons a year ago. As a reminder, for the calendar year 2023, Ukrainian sunflower oil exports amounted to 5.7 million tons worth $5 billion (in 2022 - 4.3 million tons worth $5.5 billion).

The largest exporters of sunflower oil from Ukraine are the Kernel, Bunge and MHP groups.
