The Comfy network has grown to 102 stores

The revenue of the operating company of the Comfy chain for 2023 exceeded UAH 27 billion, which is 66% more than in the previous year.

At the beginning of April, Comfy opened a new store in Oleksandria, Kirovohrad region. This outlet became the 102nd store of the chain in Ukraine.

As RAU was informed by the company's press service, as of April 10, 2024, the Comfy chain has 102 stores. Since the beginning of the year, the company has opened a flagship store in the capital's Ocean Plaza shopping center and resumed the operations of the store in the Aprolo shopping center in Dnipro, which was damaged by a missile attack last December.

At the beginning of 2023, the Comfy chain consisted of 82 supermarkets, 17 fewer than at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, but already during 2023, the total number of Comfy stores increased to 100.

Financial preformance figures also improved significantly. According to the financial statements of the network operator - Comfy Trade LLC - its turnover in 2023 increased by 66% compared to the previous year and reached UAH 27.6 billion.

Revenue Comfy 2023

The company's gross profit increased from UAH 3.5 billion to UAH 5.3 billion, operating profit - from UAH 23 million to UAH 52 million, net profit amounted to UAH 40 million. During 2023, the amount of money in the company's accounts increased from UAH 1.3 billion to UAH 1.7 billion, the amount of goods stocks increased from UAH 1.8 billion to UAH 3.2 billion.

Comfy has an unusually high inventory turnover rate for an electronics chain - in 2023 it averaged 40 days (this is better than a significant number of food retailers, so it indicates a fairly high business efficiency).
