The company exceeded its 2023 plans to open new markets, the current number of Comfy stores is greater than before the full-scale invasion.

At the end of 2023, the Comfy chain opened two new electronics and household appliances supermarkets - in the shopping mall Blockbuster Mall in Kyiv and in Chernivtsi in the Maidan shopping mall.

As a result the total number of chain stores is currently 102, so it can be noted that the company exceeded its plans for the total number of stores by the end of 2023 - the company's plans were to bring the number of supermarkets to 100.

As a reminder at the beginning of 2023 the Comfy chain consisted of 82 supermarkets, 17 less than at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

14 of the supermarkets opened during 2023 were opened in locations previously occupied by a competitor - the Eldorado chain, which is close to bankruptcy and is trying to start the sanation process.

Currently, Comfy has three basic store formats, which depend on location and available space. There is a general format with an area of 500 sq. m., second one - more than 500 sq. m (these are mostly flagship stores) and the third one - 300 sq m (mostly in small towns).

According to the financial report of the Comfy-Trade LLC company, which is the operator of the Comfy network, its turnover in 2022 amounted to UAH 16.6 billion, which is 16% less than in the previous year.

In the first nine months of 2023, Comfy significantly increased its turnover (by more than 50%) compared to last year (according to our estimates, up to UAH 17-18 billion), so we can expect that at the end of the year, the company's total turnover in UAH will be close to UAH 25 billion.

The network remains the clear number one in the country's retail market in the segment of electronics and household appliances.
